Euan Blair joins list of Britain's richest people and has £327m more than dad (2024)

Euan Blair has made his debut in this year’sSunday Times Rich List. The son of former Prime Minister Tony Blair, the entrepreneur is worth around £375m.

His astronomic net worth means he has amassed a fortune of around £328m more than his esteemed father who, according to reports, has assets of over £47m.

Despite his gargantuan wealth, Mr Blair is not the richest young individual on the list. In the Sunday Times’ list of 40 under 40, the Duke of Westminster and the Grosvenor Family top the list with a net wealth of £10.127bn.

They are followed in second place by Herman Narula and Fawn and India Rose James who have net worths of £780m and £750m respectively.

Euan, who turned 40 earlier this year, is the chief executive and co-founder of Multiverse, a company which helps people who are 26 and under find apprenticeships.

People who use their services have been able to find apprenticeships at companies such as Google, McKinseyand medicinal companies such as Pfizer.

However, having succeeded in opening doors for people in their mid-20s and younger, Euan Blair is now turning his attention to the over 55s.

Speaking to the Sunday Times earlier this year he said Multiverse, formerly known as WhiteHat, would start offering apprenticeships to people over the age of 55.

Mr Blair said: “This is a call out to the five million workers over 50 who were looking to return early as well as to those wanting to return to the workplace. AI and technology are transforming the nature of work and the skills people need to be successful. People are being left behind.”

Mr Blair added that he older people needed help to get better with technology and admitted that his father was not “super adept” at dealing with PCs.

The scheme, which launched earlier this year, aims to help over-55s change their career direction, restart a career or even to enter work for the first time.

The new scheme is supported by Education Secretary Gillian Keegan who said it was essential that older workers had access to the ability to retrain as well as younger members of the workforce.
