How rare is Artisan Loaf terraria? ›

Unlike the player's item reach, crafting reach cannot be extended by items such as the Architect Gizmo Pack or Extendo Grip. It can however be extended permanently by consuming the Artisan Loaf. The crafting reach of the player isn't a whole number.

In ActRaiser, you will encounter a kid named Teddy, who has run away from home. You will then need to give him a loaf of bread to come back home. This is where Terraria's Artisan Loaf comes in. The description for this item states that it is "Legendary Bread that once reminded Teddy of home".

The Artisan Loaf is a consumable item which permanently increases a player's crafting station range from around 3 blocks by 4 blocks, to around 7 blocks in total. It is purchased from the Skeleton Merchant for 10 gold.

The rarest item to drop is the Slime Staff, since it has a 1/10000 chance to drop from Slimes. However, there used to be an even rarer item, the Uzi, which had a 1/80000 drop chance from Angry Trappers. For some reason, they had the drop chance being so low, despite the weapon being just a slightly better Megashark.
